Somatic Channeling
Healing doesn't have to be hard. Sometimes it can be joyful, experimental, and gentle. It's a matter of tuning back into a frequency your body already knows.
We have energy moving through us at all times: a living electromagnetic system connected to our nervous system, emotions, intuition, and overall wellbeing. Some describe it as a giant swirling doughnut of energy moving through and around the body. (Nature loves a weird design.)
In Somatic Channeling, we tune into the web of life and draw on that energy, source, which ultimately is love. Our bodies know exactly what to do with it.
Over time, stress, trauma, grief, and survival patterns can create blockages in that flow. Like a beaver dam in a river, the energy is still there — it just can't move freely.
Somatic Channeling helps gently release those blockages so the body and nervous system can return to a more natural state of flow. When that happens, people often feel more grounded, clear, creative, connected, and alive.

“My experience receiving the somatic channelling session was so supportive. I came to the session with some sciatic nerve pain and a desire to direct my energy towards some new creations.
As Mick began, I felt a gentle clearing of my energy field that sent shivers through my physical body. A day after the session, the pain in my sciatic nerve is less pronounced and I was able to take some new steps on my creative projects.
Feeling so grateful for an energetic shift that has tangible effects.”
— Kat G.“I went into a session with Mick with a simple intention: to be open and willing to receive whatever was there for me. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, and what unfolded was much more powerful and beautiful than I could have imagined.
As I settled in and connected with my breath, I began to feel a heat building inside me. It grew into an incredibly strong sensation around my heart and solar plexus, and I could feel the energy moving through my body. My breathing deepened automatically , and then, almost without thinking, I started smiling. A deep sense of joy came over me, and before I knew it, I was laughing out loud.
What struck me most was how effortless it felt. There was no trying to create an experience or make something happen. I was simply allowing myself to be present and see what my body wanted to express. The experience felt joyful, expansive, intense, and deeply heart-opening all at once.”
— Sarah T.about me
I came to this work through teaching, building, burnout, grief, nature, and a long time figuring out what it means to feel whole.
My practice is shaped as much by working with my hands as by formal learning.
I believe healing happens not only through insight, but through relationship: with the body, with the land, with community, with creativity, and with the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to silence.
This is not about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more deeply inhabitable to yourself.
